Celebrate the Holidays at Greenfield District’s “Christmas for Generations” 2024

The holiday season is almost here! Greenfield Development Corporation (GDC) invites everyone—families, friends, and the whole community—to join their annual “Christmas for Generations” celebration. Since it began in 2014, this event has become a cherished tradition in Mandaluyong, and this year’s festivities kick off on November 15, 2024, promising a night full of cheer, excitement, and the grand lighting of Greenfield District’s iconic Christmas tree.

A Festive Night to Remember

On November 15, starting at 5 PM, visitors can enjoy the Christmas spirit as Greenfield District illuminates its grand Christmas tree, decorated with angel-themed ornaments that embody the season’s themes of peace and hope. The tree lighting ceremony will also feature a spectacular fireworks show, lighting up the night sky and spreading holiday joy.

Families can also meet and take photos with Santa Claus during a special meet-and-greet session. Adding to the holiday atmosphere, a live choir will perform beloved Christmas carols, inviting everyone to sing along and reminisce about past holiday memories.

According to Atty. Duane A.X. Santos, Executive Vice President of Greenfield Development Corporation (GDC), the event reflects the true essence of the holidays. “Christmas is a time for connection, and through our annual traditions, we hope to bring families closer together. At Greenfield District, we’re not just building places; we’re creating experiences that resonate through generations, allowing families to share in joyful moments that transcend time,” he said.

The “Christmas for Generations” celebration, which runs until December 31, is free and open to the public. Visitors can explore various stalls offering food and holiday goods, indulge in treats, and enjoy Greenfield District’s spacious and lively atmosphere—a great place to create lasting holiday memories.

Located at the corner of EDSA and Shaw Boulevard, Greenfield District is known for its wellness-oriented spaces, providing visitors with a unique place to relax, connect, and enjoy cherished holiday traditions with loved ones. Its open-air setup emphasizes health and togetherness, making it perfect for holiday gatherings.

“Greenfield District is more than a place; it’s a lifestyle that balances the convenience of city living with a wellness-focused environment,” says Atty. Santos. “Through ‘Christmas for Generations,’ we’re inviting everyone to celebrate the holidays with joy, in a space designed for connection, wellness, and togetherness.”
