Last February 19, I was invited to another bloggers event, Bungee Fun and Post-Valentine’s Day Bloggers Dinner, at Eastwood City. After my heart-stopping and electrifying experience in Bungee Fun, my fellow bloggers and I got to taste, and of course, enjoy the food of Uncle Cheffy.
Uncle Cheffy is the brainchild of the people who brought us the Chef’s Quarter and Old Vine. What is unique with Uncle Cheffy that made it different from The Chef’s Quarter and Old Vine, is its brick oven dishes, most especially its specialty of the house – the brick oven Panizza! In case you don’t know what Panizza is, well, it’s a pizza made as thin as possible – like paper-thin.
At Uncle Cheffy, Panizza comes in three variants to suit your flavor-loving mouth. They have Panizza specially made for the Seafood Lovers, which is sprinkled with salmon, shrimp, clams, squid, three cheeses, onions and herbs. For the cheese lovers, the Cheese & Cheese & Cheese variant is recommended for you, this variant is topped with mozzarella, Parmesan, cheddar, gruyere, blue cheese, herbs, and virgin olive oil. Lastly, for those who love to experiment, the East Meats West Panizza will surely compliment your mouth’s desire as it’s topped with Parma ham, kesong puti, salted eggs, tomatoes and mango slices.
But that’s not all that Uncle Cheffy is proud of. We also got to taste some more delectable cuisine like Grilled Prawns and Pomelo Salad, the Uncle Cheffy Salad with crispy pork belly and the Spaghetti Alejandro, which resembles the Filipino-style spaghetti. We also enjoyed their Special Rice, Memphis Barbeque U.S Beef Rib Finger, Garlic Studded Pork Belly Lechon and Thai Styled Fried Pla Pla. As for the desserts, which I was excitedly waiting (since I have a sweet tooth), we tried different sweets like Chocolate Roulade, Chocolate Parfait, Sweet Potato Crème Brulee and Panacotta with Ube Vichyssoise. Uuummm, now I’m practically drooling remembering and picturing them in my mind…

It was really a fun and memorable way to celebrate a Post-Valentines Day at Eastwood City, where Uncle Cheffy is located and Bungee Jumping is offered. I just wished my hubby was with me to enjoy that unforgettable night. Anyway, special thanks to Eastwood City, Azrael and Ms. Tina Magtira for giving me the chance to experience this spectacular night!
