Due to exhaustion, Britain’s Got Talent runner up Susan Boyle pulls out of another gig. She remained at her rented London flat while the rest of the finalists took to the stage in Cardiff.
“Unfortunately Susan won’t be performing in Nottingham today. She is taking another rest day but is scheduled to be back tomorrow for the London dates,” a spokewoman said.
BGT runner up Susan Boyle is canceling at Nottingham, however, she is expected to perform at Wembley (London) on Sunday June 21.
Meanwhile, Simon Cowell admitted today that “the situation” with Susan Boyle was not handled as well as it could have been as the Britain’s Got Talent runner-up pulled out of more live shows.
“Looking back on it all, it has become clear to me that we didn’t handle the situation with Susan as well as we could have,” he said.
“Yet, to be honest, I don’t know that I could have done it any differently.”
He said that, after she sang in her first audition, he “thought she had come over well, but not sensationally”.
He added: “I certainly didn’t think, ‘here comes a phenomenon who is going to become the most famous woman in the world, I wonder if she can mentally cope with it?’
