PLDT Home welcomes Miss Universe Philippines 2024 Chelsea Manalo of Bulacan as their newest ambassador. After standing out in the swimwear and evening gown segments, Manalo made an impact in the top 5 Q&A portion with her statement on how she could use her beauty and confidence in empowering others.
“As a woman of color, I have always faced challenges in my life. I was told that beauty has standards,” she said. “But for me, I have listened to always believe in my mother, to always believe in yourself, uphold the vows that you have.”
“Because of these, I am already influencing a lot of women who are facing me right now. As a transformational woman, I have here 52 other delegates with me who have helped me to become the woman I am. Thank you,” she added.
Manalo will represent the Philippines in the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico.
