If you’re the kind of person who loves a good game, chances are you’re going to love Race to a Minute 2023. Years after the last Race to a Minute, Robinsons Appliances has reopened four Robinsons Malls to the exciting 60-second challenges giving away more than 2 million worth of appliances and gadgets.

“After the pandemic put a halt to this exciting gathering, we made sure that this year’s Race to a Minute will be something to look forward to, not only for its participants but also for mall shoppers of Robinsons Malls,” said Donna May San Luis, Marketing Services Manager of Robinsons Appliances.

The Race to a Minute 2023 by Robinsons Appliances features six pit stops where competitors compete in 60-second tasks for the chance to win appliances and gadgets. The race was placed in four regions this year. There are four teams in each region wherein all players are guaranteed to go home with prizes for as much as P220,000 worth of appliances and gadgets.

The race started in Robinsons Valencia, Bukidnon last March 5, 2023. Each team had two members who took turns in completing each task and they were given 60 seconds to complete every challenge set by the hosts.

First place winners were Ma. Helen Aranguez and Cres Lithel Gem Aranguez, a duo from Tagum Davao, won P218,000 in prizes. Second-place winners were Ram Anthony Liwag and Kirk Tagaling, friends from Misamis Oriental that brought home P153K worth of appliances and gadgets. The third place went to Almahdi Alonto and Amari Alonto, the energetic siblings from Iligan City that won P118,000 worth of Robinsons Appliances goodies. And lastly, Manuel Manlisik Jr. and Joseph Handayan were in fourth place, which earned them P100K worth of prizes.

The second leg was held at Robinsons Galleria, Cebu, on March 11, 2023. Eleanor Marie Valencia and Rodney Paul Bastona from Negros took home P198K worth of prizes as first-place winners. Rudylen Laurente and Nica Arabella Laurente from Dumaguete followed the duo closely, winning second place with P180K worth of appliances and gadgets. Tacloban natives Alexander and Donnabel Lim got third place and won P120K worth of Robinsons Appliances goodies. To wrap up the Cebu leg, Melvin Meredores and Rolando Anabieza were crowned fourth place, workmates from Ormoc that brought home P91K worth of prizes.

The third leg happened in Tuguegarao soil, right at Robinsons Tuguegarao, last March 18, 2023. Together with the Race to a Minute hosts, Turs Daza and Elisse Joson, were Gilbert Roldan and Jennifer Roldan (first place winners P206K Robinson Appliances items); Sheila Ramos and Sheri Sapitan (who took home P160K worth of Robinsons Appliance goodies) that were placed second; third placers James Benedict De Galicia and Madonna Latigo (who earned P115K worth of products); and Josephine Brual and Robert Diaz who shared the P108K of Robinsons Appliances prizes.

Last March 25, 2023, the final leg of Race to a Minute was held at Robinsons Galleria South. The first-place winners were Marvin Chua and Martin Chua who won P190K appliances and gadgets. They were followed by Malabon City residents, Nathaniel Trinidad and Don German Crisostomo, who also received P190K. Vicresan Borras and Adelsan Borras placed third in the relay and earned P118K worth of items. And finally, a mother-son duo, Emiden Santillan and Ronald Santillan took home P90K items at the end of the day.

In addition to winning appliances and gadgets, each team also gets PHP2,000 worth of GoRewards Points.

San Luis also thanked the Robinsons Appliances patrons who have supported the brand through the years, “This annual Robinsons Appliances event marks our gratitude to our customers who’ve been supporting us throughout the past year,” said Donna May San Luis, Marketing Services Manager of Robinsons Appliances.”

Without the Gold sponsors Kolin, Sharp, Lex Service, Inc., TCL, GCash, Samsung, and Daikin, Race to a Minute 2023 would not have been possible. Together with Gold Sponsors, our Silver co-presenters Fujidenzo, Devant, Toshiba, American Home, Johnson Controls, Midea, Whirlpool, Hitachi, Hisense, Skyworth, Panasonic, Electrolux, and Maytag, have made another year of Race to a Minute successful.
