As a mom who loves to watch Kdramas, BTS music videos, and play mobile games, I’ve been looking for a smartphone that can handle my everyday tasks without breaking the bank. That’s why I’m excited to share my Xiaomi Redmi 12C Review.

Design and Display
This phone’s sleek and fashionable design is one of its best qualities. There are other colors besides the lavender purple that I have, like graphite grey, ocean blue, and mint green. I’ve gotten compliments on the Redmi 12C’s appealing design from friends and family, and it looks and feels high-end. Even while the huge 6.71″ HD+ display isn’t the finest at displaying blacks, it still offers an immersive experience for binge-watching shows and navigating through social media.
Performance
With a MediaTek Helio G85 chip and 4GB of RAM, the Redmi 12C meets my daily needs with ease. It handles web browsing, social media scrolling, and movie-watching seamlessly. Even when playing mobile games like Mobile Legends on medium settings, the phone rarely lags or experiences frame drops. Although it may struggle with too many apps running or when performing heavy-duty tasks, I remain impressed with its performance considering its price.
The octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 processor delivers well-balanced performance and surpasses its peers, while the Mali-G52 gaming GPU provides a smooth entertainment experience with speeds of up to 2.0GHz CPU and 1.0GHz GPU.
Camera
As a mom who loves to capture family moments, I appreciate the dual-rear camera system on the Redmi 12C. It features a 50MP primary sensor and a 0.8MP depth sensor. While the image quality is normally good, I did notice that photos taken in dim lighting might appear flat and lack accurate color. However, the gadget does have a night mode, which enhances image quality. The water drop notch-encased 5MP front-facing camera provides attractive selfies with good clarity and sharp details, even in a variety of lighting situations.

Battery Life
The Redmi 12C’s long-lasting battery is another noteworthy aspect. The phone’s 5,000 mAh battery effortlessly powers through a full day of intensive use without any issues. The phone’s fast fingerprint technology also makes app access, mobile payments, and unlocking simple. Even though it takes the phone’s 10W charging capabilities about 2.5 to 3 hours to fully charge, this is a minor flaw in light of the phone’s other excellent features.
Price
With a price of PHP 5,499 for its 3GB+32GB edition, the Xiaomi Redmi 12C is a great value for money. If you require additional memory and storage, other models are available such as the 4GB+64GB, 4GB+128GB, and 6GB+128GB, priced at PHP 6,499, PHP 7,499, and PHP 8,599, respectively. It’s important to note that the 6GB+128GB version is only accessible online.
Verdict
The Xiaomi Redmi 12C has beyond my expectations as a mom who enjoys playing mobile games, and watching Kdramas and KPop. It provides excellent value for the money because of its appealing appearance, impressive features, and fingerprint technology. Additionally, it’s so simple to use that even my 7-year-old can use it without any difficulty. My Redmi 12C is a lavender purple color, and I love flaunting it to my loved ones. If you’re in the market for an affordable smartphone that meets all your daily needs, I suggest checking out the Xiaomi Redmi 12C.
