Two SM Malls in Antipolo City, Rizal recently were awarded with the esteemed Mobility Awards 2021 by the Institute for Climate and Sustainable Cities (ICSC). SM Cherry Antipolo and SM City Masinag won the Gold and Silver Awards respectively for the Most Bike-Friendly Large Commercial Establishments Category on a nationwide scale.

SM City Masinag team received the Silver Mobility Award from ICSC for the Most Bike-Friendly Large Commercial Establishments Category

Both malls have topped the rankings in terms of infrastructure, integration, implementation, inclusivity and innovation set by the ICSC. This achievement has added to the growing recognition for the Bike-Friendly campaign of SM Supermalls, which was launched in 2020.

SM Supermalls Senior Assistant Vice President Johanna Rupisan receives the Gold Mobility Award for Most Bike-Friendly Large Commercial Establishments Category. Award is handed over by Golda Hilario
Associate for Program Development of Institute for Climate and Sustainable Cities (ICSC).

“By the efforts we have implemented in both malls through the Bike-Friendly SM campaign, we hope that we contribute in the mobility revolution to transform the surrounding communities of our malls as roads-for-all. We would like to encourage more businesses, regardless of size, to address concerns of mobility of their customers by providing mindful, cost-effective and eco-friendly solutions like what we have added in our facilities,” said Engr. Dennis Martel, Regional Operations Manager.

11 other SM Supermalls nationwide have received the 2021 Mobility Awards recognition from the ICSC for the sustaining Bike-Friendly SM campaign.
