The Mi TV P1 series is their latest offering in the smart home entertainment line. You can take your pick among 4 different sizes, 55 inches, 50 inches, 43 inches, and 32 inches. Each one builds to consider both your space and viewing needs. The ultimate pick is of course the 55 inch TV.
Key features and My Humble Opinion (IMHO)
Bezel-less design
This TV is made with polycarbonate plastic which isn’t something that you would expect from a TV. However, the bezel-less design made it look good and added chic to an otherwise plastic look and feel of the TV. It has a glossy panel that may mirror items in front of the screen so it’ll be best not to place it across the window.
IMHO: In terms of design, if you can look past the more plastic than metal appearance then it’s not so bad at all.

IMHO: The sharpness is exceptional and the vibrancy is sufficient to satisfy your casual viewing needs.

IMHO: What’s not to love about this feature? I love Netflix so this is a plus feature for me.

IMHO: This is perfect for people who like to multitask or watch TV while doing house chores or surf while working on a project etc. It’s also great for kids. We didn’t have any trouble downloading games and apps like Discovery from Google Play. My daughter Sam even enjoyed using the Hands-free Google Assistant as she surfs the TV.
Dolby Audio™ and DTS-HD®
Audio is good and comes out loud and crisp thereby allowing you to enjoy crystal clear stereo sounds.
IMHO: My husband is very particular with audio features and he’s quite happy with this one. But it could be better if the bass could be improved. As such you may want to use it with a 5.1 surround sound system for the ultimate experience.
Overall Specs and Spend Ratio IMHO
Value for money is the name of the game for smart shoppers. In the case of the Xiaomi Mi TV P1 Series the Specs and Spend Ratio actually exceeded our expectations. This is mostly because of its performance and the viewing experience that we enjoyed from it. Taking all the plus and misses in the features, the Mi TV is still a good option for those who want a mid-range TV that gives value for money.
