If you are a blogger or lifestyle influencer then this is a move that you should really consider because TikTok is the most popular app today. Not just that, it is also the fastest growing social media platform in the past two years. This growth is expected to continue with predictions that it will reach more than a billion users in 2021. Thus, it is not surprising that brands and advertisers are looking into TikTok Marketing as a preferred influencer marketing platform. For influencers, this means bigger potential to attract more followers and income opportunities.

    Why TikTok?

Aside from TikTok’s potential in 2021, this app is also quite fun and easy to use.  All you have to do is download the app, set your profile, and start making 15 to 60 seconds videos. The app already has built-in sound and visual effects tools and editing tools that you can use for enhancing your video. Once you’re done with your creation, you can simply upload it. The nice thing about it is that you can share it on your other social media platforms as well.  Simple, quick, and easy. It’s no wonder that influencers like Diana Rose Rosqueta are able to adapt quickly to TikTok Marketing.

    What makes TikTok Click?

Perhaps one of the charms of TikTok is the creative freedom and authenticity of the videos created through the app. A lot of the videos that have gone viral are those created by ordinary folks with amusing, humorous, or entertaining content. Some of the most popular ones are those that involve challenges and duet chains. The length of the videos may also be considered a plus because it is easier to indulge and share short videos compared to longer ones.

Another factor is the ease and convenience in selecting videos to watch. Dance challenges and lip-syncs are quite popular in TikTok but there are also fitness, cooking, and other types of tutorials as well as lifestyle videos in their roster. The app has features that make it easier for you to find videos or content that appeal to you based on your reaction to them. For brands and advertisers, this feature will help ensure that their message gets delivered to the right market. But of course, as an influencer, your challenge is to create content that resonates with your audience.

How do you create content for TikTok Marketing?

When it comes to TikTok marketing content, the same rules apply across all media and social platforms. They must be relevant, informative, engaging, and trustworthy.  You must first identify the audience that you want to reach in order to create videos that appeal to their interests. Also, remember that it is not enough that your content is entertaining. Do better by giving your audience some takeaways or thoughts that they can chew on after watching your video.  This way your audience becomes more engaged with your content and likely leads to comments or conversations.

When should you get into TikTok Marketing?

The best time to get in on it is now because influencers are still on the rise and so is TikTok Marketing. Brands are exploring ways to collaborate with influencers, both celebs, and ordinary folks, to grow their businesses. Influencer marketing trends also show that brands are tapping into micro and even nano influencers in promoting their brands. As the saying goes, strike while the iron is hot. Put yourself out there and get your content noticed by both your followers and potential brand partners.
