Mall trips are bonding moments for our family and we often go to SM City Fairview when we moved to our new house.
In fact my daughter Sam already joined their United Nations Program.
We were also among the first to enjoy the newly renovated SM Cinema Fairview when we watched Frozen 2. My in-laws live near the area so we are not new to SM Fairview but the addition of the Parkway wing made our mall trips more exciting. More space means more stores, restaurants, and coffee shops!
Speaking of coffee shops, Stockwell Café + Lounge is now at SM City Fairview.
I’ve heard a lot of good things about this café which made me more curious to check it out. The recent opening of their 3rd branch in SM City Fairview gave me the opportunity to finally satisfy my curiosity.
Stockwell Café + Lounge is not like your regular coffee shop. It is a Third Wave Café and Restaurant wherein taste, quality, and unique flavours are a priority. The size and location of their SM City Fairview branch is quite ideal for groups and family gatherings. I also like the mix of homey and industrial vibe of the restaurant and the entirety of the interiors. Once you’re inside Stockwell Café + Lounge you’d hardly think that you’re still inside the mall.
For coffee lovers, Stockwell Café + Lounge is a good place to enjoy artisan coffee. They offer a wide range of fresh beans that are grinded right in front of you to ensure freshness. Aside from choosing the type of beans, customers also get to choose the brewing method for their “perfect” cup of coffee.
For my first visit, I got the Stockwell 50/50 which can be served hot (Php150) or over ice (Php160). Coffee is blended with milk and a secret ingredient and the result is a creamy latte version with a hint of chocolate. My companion ordered the Matcha Green Latte and enjoyed the strong earthy tea flavors that matcha fans love.

As for their meals, Stockwell Café + Lounge prides itself for using fresh and high quality ingredients that are sourced locally and internationally. You can choose from a wide selection of pasta, sandwiches, appetizers, grilled items, ala carte, and rice selection.
The Chicken Cordon Bleu (Php220) was tender and flavoured just right plus it was super cheesy, which I like.
We also got the Truffle Mushroom Linguine which is available in solo (Php250) and for sharing (Php470) portions. The scent alone of this pasta dish is already mouth-watering.
Another must try dish is the Squid Ink Pasta (Php250 for solo and Php490 for sharing). It is loaded with baby squid, shrimps, cherry tomatoes and garlic.
Lunch specials are also available from 11am to 2pm on Mondays through Thursdays.
Stockwell Café + Lounge is also a good place to enjoy a nice glass of wine any time of the day. That’s right it has a full bar and an extensive wine list that you can order by the glass.
So it doesn’t really matter if you want to have coffee with friends, a meal with your family, or a drink with your officemates. Stockwell Café + Lounge has got you covered in all three. It’s a café, restaurant, and bar in one nice location. What can I say, at Stockwell Café + Lounge you have everything you need to chill relax and simply enjoy a wonderful meal.
