Get ready for a literary celebration, Manila Wolfies! Big Bad Wolf is back and on a mission to reach 1 million new readers, kicking off another spectacular Manila book sale at Ayala Malls TriNoma Activity Center from August 7 to August 15. Join the fun from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM every Monday to Thursday, and from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM every Friday to Sunday!

The Big Bad Wolf TriNoma Book Sale brings back Metrobank, offering credit cardholders a special 0% 3-month installment promo for single-receipt purchases worth at least P3,000. Plus, Swedish furnishing brand IKEA is joining the event, treating visitors to exclusive offers!

In celebration of “Buwan ng Wika,” Big Bad Wolf is uplifting local voices and stories by featuring an impressive lineup of local publishers. Feast Books, Adarna, Tahanan Lampara, Bookmark, and many independent publishers will showcase the richness of Filipino literature, ensuring these diverse narratives reach a wider audience.

Jacqueline Ng, Co-founder of Big Bad Wolf Books, emphasizes, “Our mission has always been to make reading accessible and enjoyable for everyone. We are working with local publishers not only to promote reading but also to celebrate the vibrant and diverse stories that reflect the Filipino community’s unique heritage.”

“It’s always heartwarming and extremely rewarding to see so many people passionate about books,” adds Carol Chuaying, Big Bad Wolf Books Philippine Managing Partner. “The stories and voices from our local publishers bring a unique perspective to our readers, and we are happy to provide a platform that amplifies their work.”

With over two million books, including titles from local publishers, the selection at the book sale is vast. Discover local stories like Anya Chelabian and Faye Villanueva’s “Ma-I” series from Kawangis Publishing, Ana Digi’s “Sa Kalye Mailap” and “Sinta” from Street Tales Publishing, and “José Corazon de Jesus: Mga Piling Tula” edited by National Artist for Literature Virgilio S. Almario from San Anselmo Press.

Don’t miss books by Palanca Awardee and National Artist for Film and Broadcast Ricky Lee, such as “Sa Puso ng Himala,” “For (Or How Love Devastates Four Out of Every Five of Us),” and “Kulang na Silya at Iba Pang Kwentong Buhay: Essays on Life and Writing.”

This third Manila book sale marks the ongoing partnership between Big Bad Wolf and Ayala Malls, supporting the Ayala Malls’ “BookLat: Open. Imagine. Discover.” initiative. This program encourages young people within Ayala Malls and Ayala Land Estates communities to read for leisure and entertainment, aiming to collect 20,000 books for public school students from kindergarten to grade 3.

Ng and Chuaying will lead the ribbon-cutting ceremony, joined by distinguished guests such as the Ambassador of Malaysia to the Philippines Dato’ Abdul Malik Melvin Castelino, Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, Quezon City Councilor Doray Delarmente Bagting, Maguindanao Datu Unsay Municipality Vice Mayor Bai Alicia Nicole S. Ampatuan, Metrobank Credit Card General Usage Head Emily Koa, 2GO Business Unit Head for 2GO Forwarding Faye Babat, IKEA Marketing and PR Manager Patrick Marcelo, and Ayala Malls TriNoma Senior Marketing Manager Anne Palpal-Latoc. Expect another grand book sale experience that will surely attract crowds from the north of the metro.

That’s not all! Big Bad Wolf is ramping up the fun with exciting activities at the TriNoma book sale! The popular “501 Legion,” a cosplay and storytelling activity, returns for everyone’s enjoyment. Little ones can also join the “Little Wolfies Crew” on weekends!
