Don’t you just love home-cooked meals? I do because these meals are usually prepared with love. Ingredients are chosen carefully, slow-cooked to perfection, and seasoned according to your taste. The only trouble is that it takes time to prepare such dishes. It can take around 1-2 hours just for the meat to get tender #LoveTakesTime.

For busy moms and moms on the go, this can be a real challenge. But guess what? I just prepped and served some home-cooked Bistek Tagalog in less than 10 minutes. How? I did it with Purefoods ready-to-eat Viands.

Thanks to this new product line from Purefoods, I can prepare home-cooked meals for the whole family without slaving in the kitchen. This means less time in the kitchen and more time and energy for my family. PUREFOODS® Ready-to-Eat Viands are delicious, slow-cooked dishes that are reminiscent of home. Each dish is slow-cooked and expertly prepared by Purefoods so that you don’t have to, thus giving you some extra time for taking care of the family and yourself. There are 9 viands available.

    • Bistek Tagalog
    • Beef Caldereta
    • Pork Humba
    • Kare-Kare
    • Beef Pares
    • Bicol Express
    • Chicken Afritada
    • Lechon Paksiw
    • Pork Binagoongan

I got to try 3 of them already and they do have the taste and feel of home-cooked meals. But I suggest adding fresh vegetables as you re-heat it to make it more special, #PurefoodsReadytoEat with love. My favorite so far is the Bistek Tagalog. It was flavorful and the meat was really tender. I added some onion rings halfway through the reheating process as my own personal touch in the dish. And ta-da! I’ve got my home-cooked Bistek Tagalog in less than 10 minutes! My family and I enjoyed the meal together and I can’t wait to try the other viands. Some of my friends suggested that I try the Kare-Kare. Given that this dish is really tedious to prepare on my own, a ready to eat version from Purefoods is definitely worth a try.

The PUREFOODS® Ready-to-Eat Viands are great for busy moms who want home-cooked meals with slow-cooked goodness on their tables. They are also great go-to options for novices in the kitchen, young adults who know their way in the kitchen, or just about anyone who wants to enjoy home-cooked meals in a jiffy. I would definitely have these viands on my grocery list.
