CEMEX Philippines makes a distinct achievement as the first cement company in the country to be certified as a Great Place to Work®. This recognition showcases the company’s commitment to creating a positive and inclusive work environment for its employees.

Great Place to Work certification is given by Great Place to Work®, the global authority in workplace culture. They provide workplace culture assessments that validate employee experience and are the data scientists behind Fortune’s annual list of the 100 Best Companies to Work For.

“We are very pleased to be certified as a Great Place to Work because it highlights and validates our longstanding commitment to creating the best work environment for our employees. Our people are our greatest asset, and we are dedicated to supporting their growth and in ensuring we provide the highest possible standards in employee experience,” said Luis Franco, CEMEX Philippines President and CEO.

Employees regarded CEMEX Philippines highly in the following focus areas: Justice, Hospitality, Camaraderie, Competence, Pride, Personal Job, Intimacy, and Corporate Image.

“The Great Place to Work certification combines our focus on being a world-class workplace and our commitment to creating value for our employees, customers, shareholders, and the communities we serve,” Franco added.

The certification is based on feedback from employees who were surveyed on various aspects of their work environment, and the results show CEMEX Philippines as a company that is committed to inclusivity, safety, and fairness.
