It’s been almost a year since travel restrictions have been implemented so you probably miss your R&R trips already. But don’t you worry because there are alternatives to your usual travels without leaving the house. One of which is the virtual wine tours.

You don’t have to be a wine connoisseur to enjoy these tours. It can be even more interesting for those who barely know anything about wines. Virtual wine tours basically take you to vineyards, wineries, and tasting rooms via zoom. It’s like going on remote inspections where you get an actual feel of the situation even if you’re not onsite. Except that this tour is made with your enjoyment in mind. Not just that you also get to experience the tour in the company of wine experts, celebrities, or connoisseurs. The company you get would of course depend on the virtual tour that you choose to join.

If you want to get the feel of Oregon wine tasting rooms and similar venues then a bit of creativity can help. A few adjustments in mood lighting, climate control, and a bit of furniture re-arrangement and you can have the next best thing. Don’t forget to have your chosen wine bottles and glasses ready for the tasting. Most virtual wine tours encourage you to have their featured wine delivered to your doorstep before viewing. This way you’ll feel like you’re on an actual tour.

Should you decide to enjoy your wine outdoors then a simple garden set-up with a great view can just do the trick. You can have your wine in elegant glasses or if you just keep it simple with glasses from Luxe Hydration which can handle the outdoor elements better.

Nothing really beats the real thing but sometimes it is better to settle for the next best thing. Virtual wine tours may not be able to really bring you to the vineyards but there is no stopping you from enjoying real good wine.
