Thousands of shoppers gathered in 29 different Ayala Malls in the metro for a Halloween experience as part of Cartoon Network Shriektober.
This is the second year that Cartoon Network and Ayala Malls brought screams and thrills for Halloween, offering families plenty of fun activities to enjoy as part of the weeklong festivities.
For this year, we joined the Shriektober at Trinoma Mall.
Shriektober brought tricks, toons and treats featuring the best-known Cartoon Network characters and shows. Kids could help Finn and Jake power through the Adventure Time Lava Escape, explore the land of the dead with Victor and Valentino VR style or transform into a Ben 10 alien. They could also dig through different puzzle pieces to save the Mystery Gang at the Scooby-Doo Haunted Candy Puzzle or find themselves in Cignal TV’s The Lost arcade.
Kids-at-heart were also able to relive childhood memories with special appearances from classic cartoons they’ve grown up with including Dexter’s Laboratory. Johnny Bravo and Power Puff Girls.
Parents had to use their full creative power to recreate their kid’s favorite Cartoon Network character during costume contests. Plenty of prizes, including cool merchandise and toys were on offer for winners.
Cartoon Network didn’t miss a trick and fans were in for a treat with Halloween-themed episodes of hit shows like Victor and Valentino, Unikitty!, Mr Magoo, Craig of the Creek and Summer Camp Island, as well as movie specials from DC Super Hero Girls and Lego Scooby-Doo.
