Get more selfies like no other as Vivo launches its new flagship unit the Vivo V9. For the past few years the global smartphone brand Vivo has been known for stylish smartphones capable of high quality selfies. Now, Vivo takes you a notch higher with the all-new ‘V9’ AI-powered FullView™ display smartphone. This new selfie wonder was unveiled at the City of Dreams Manila in a summer themed event graced by over 200 guests and members of the press.
Vivo had a lot in store for their guests during the event. Guests were initially welcomed at the Wave, a contemporary poolside deck with restaurant and bar. It offers a great view of the cityscape and the sunset making it perfect for selfies. As such guests were happy to take their shots using the sleek and stylish Vivo V9. The selfies were posted on Instagram for the Vivo team to choose one creative photo among the lot.
The lucky shot won a Vivo ‘V9’ AI-powered FullView™ display smartphone. Aside from getting their V9 experience, guests also got their queries answered by Brand Director Annie Lim and Vivo executives.
After the warm welcome, the guests proceeded to the City of Dreams Grand Ballroom for the formal launch of Vivo V9. Myx VJ Ai dela Cruz hosted the event as the Vivo Team proudly showcased the features of Vivo ‘V9’ AI-powered FullView™ display smartphone. Vivo Brand Director Annie Lim revisited the accomplishments of Vivo from its Philippine market entry in 2016 to its current standing as a top three brand in the country. It has also grown to 5,200 stores and 1.5 million users nationwide.
Vivo continues to grow with their latest offering the Vivo V9 and Vivo’s Jomari Morales spilled the beans on what makes the V9 click. The main highlights include Vivo V9 90% screen to body ratio, 16MP+5MP dual read camera, 24 megapixel selfie camera, and the AI-powered photography for perfect shots and perfect views in your pictures. Gamers will also appreciate the improved game mode of Vivo V9. This allows you to play without interruptions as users can take calls or open apps without pausing your gaming apps.
With all the features laid out, the next question is how to get your hands on a Vivo ‘V9’ AI-powered FullView™ display smartphone. Vivo Junior Brand Manager Christian Jocson announced that pre-orders for the Vivo V9 starts on March 26 and continue until April 2, 2018. Vivo’s “perfect” price for your “perfect” Vivo V9 smartphone is Php17,990.
The Vivo V9 buzz continued after the presentation as the media shoots questions about Vivo’s plans for the Philippine market and Vivo V9’s capabilities. Lim, Morales, Jocson, and Xian Gana of the Vivo team answered them all without a glitch.
Afterwards Vivo Brand Director Annie Lim recognized Vivo brand partners Ayala Malls and SM Supermalls. There was also a ceremonial exchange of tokens wherein Lim gave a Little V Doll for the representatives of partner malls.
Another highlight of the event is the introduction of the fresh faces of Vivo. Up-and-coming actors Edward Barber and Ivan Dorschner were welcomed as the newest Vivo endorsers. Barber’s onscreen partner Maymay Entrata joined Vivo in 2017 with the launch of V7+. With Barber now signed up with Vivo, their MayWard fans have another reason to celebrate.
Dorchner’s good looks and charisma endears him to the press. He was part of the reality TV show Pinoy Big Brother in 2010 and is now one of the top leading men in GMA Network. Dorchner and fellow Vivo endorser Barbie Forteza stars in the GMA primetime series “Meant to Be”.
The Vivo team prepared a “perfect” ending for the Vivo ‘V9’ AI-powered FullView™ display smartphone launch. New endorsers Dorschner and Barber together with Entrata picked three lucky winners of Vivo V9 that were raffled off. They remained on stage with Vivo executives and Vivo endorsers Sassa Dagdag, TJ Monterde, and Jason James Dy for a toast to their latest flagship unit Vivo V9. The night ended with the lovely performances of Sassa, TJ, and Jason.
