Everybody seems to have their own New Year’s Resolutions prepared on their list either before the New Year comes or when the year has just started. Actually, I think, it has already been a practice not just here in the country but also in every part of the world. Moreover, I have noticed that one of the most common items on the list of New Year’s Resolutions that people have desired to have or achieved is living a healthy lifestyle on the coming year.
I guess individuals now are becoming health conscious that they have been watching their diets and making sure that they consume more of health-giving foods, as well as taking health supplements to boost their immune system. This may be one of the reasons why numerous brands have been sprouting like mushrooms these past few years.
Well, I value my health more than anything else. Especially now that I am a mother and that I manage my own baking business at the same time. There are times that after doing some baking, it can’t really be avoided to wash my hands as I have to attend to my daughter’s needs and similar things like that. Because of this, I believe that this practice can accelerate my nerve aging, not to mention, that I am really aging…^_^
Because being a mother is no joke and requires a general feeling of well- being to function and perform my duties best, not just as a mother, but as a housewife, too (not to mention my small baking business at home, where I am also hands on), I started taking multivitamins and other health supplements. Since, every expense must fit in our budget, I always see to it that I purchase quality items but at an affordable price. Just like in the multivitamins that I take, I know that I can have the right supplement intake without spending much. So I looked for a trusted brand that offers high quality medicines, health supplements and vitamins. To make the long story short, I have been taking Unilab’s Multi B supplement and I can truly say that even when I am in my mid-30’s, my hands are still in good shape in terms of performing my daily baking obligations, blogging and other household chores.
Multi B helps me to avoid deficiencies of Vitamins B1 (Thiamine Mononitrate), B6 (Pyridoxine Hydrochloride) and B12 (Cyanocobalamin), which results to decreasing my risk of having neuralgia (nerve pain), neuritis (inflammation of the nerves), and neuropathies (disturbance in the function of the brain or spinal cord that may affect the nerves and muscles of the body), among others.
Aside from taking Multi B supplement, I also take my daily dose of Vitamin C supplement to help boost my immune system more. In addition to this, daily but simple exercise is also a must, matched with proper intake of fiber-rich foods, drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day (to keep my well hydrated), and of course, getting enough sleep, as much as I can.
With these simple health regimens, I am sure that I will be able to live my life to the fullest and enjoy quality time with my family, without having to worry about my health. This is a sure way to jumpstart my journey to good health this 2016.
