To welcome Quezon City’s 75th Diamond Jubilee Anniversary celebration, the Quezon City government prepared a momentous event through culture, history and festivities. Specifically, the celebration will be highlighted by a grand concert sponsored by the City Government. It will be held at the Quezon Memorial Circle on October 11, 2015. Several artists will grace the celebration like Parokya ni Edgar and Rocksteady. Stand-up comedians and notable television and media personalities will also be present on the event to provide quality entertainment to all the residents of Quezon City, as well as, the visitors who will witness one of the important events in Quezon City.

The Quezon City’s 75th Diamond Jubilee Anniversary culminating event will on start On October 10, 2015 until, October 11, 2015. It will be a 2-day event that will surely make the event enjoyable, meaningful and memorable to every Quezonians and to the tourists, as well.

On October 10, 2015, the activities are as follows:
8:00AM – 4:00PM – Blogventure Activity – 75 invited bloggers will have a one-day field trip around Quezon City, where they will learn the City’s history and culture. This is done to help promote the City’s tourism through social media.
5:00PM – Mardigras – 500 dancers from Panagbenga, Sinulog, Ati-Atihan, Dinagyang and Masskara Festivals will give color to the streets of Quezon City starting from Tomas Morato up to the Rembrandt Hotel.
6:00PM – Grand Parade of Lights – Parade of lights will highlight Quezon City’s Tourism and will have the same route with the Mardigras Dancers, which is from Tomas Morato up to the Rembrandt Hotel. This will be the end of the 1st day celebration of the City.

October 11, 2015 – The activities are as follows:
7:00PM – Grand Concert and Parade of Lights will commence at the same time. The floats will roam around Visayas Avenue and Mindanao Avenue and will end at Quezon Memorial Circle around 12MN.
12Midnight – Fireworks Display and Salubong Celebration for October 12, 2015, which is the exact founding day of Quezon City.
