Dubai Is a Top Beach-Vacation Destination

Dubai is part of the United Arab Emirates and is located on the shores of the Arabian Gulf. It’s famous for breaking world records such as the tallest building, biggest aquarium and more. The Dubai Museum is the place to go for a genuine taste of the history and culture of Dubai and the Emirates. The basement has the top attraction with a high-tech reconstruction of the ancient pearl trade complete with authentic sounds and sights.

The Heritage Village is an open museum in the Shindagha District. It’s also the location of the home of Sheikh Rashid Al-Maktoum.

Along both sides of Dubai Creek are many souks or markets where you can get spices, carpets, jewelry and much more.

Dubai is the place to buy electronics, textiles and gold. The electronics often have lower prices that other places and there is a huge selection of gold jewelry and textiles. When you shop in the souks, you’ll be expected to haggle because there are great discounts available.

Dubai has become a top vacation destination for a weekend getaway or for a week of family fun. It has a wide range of beach-front hotels that offer competitive prices, so you don’t need to break your vacation budget.
