Like any other girl, I am an avid fan of Disney’s Fairy Tale stories since I was a little. I also dreamed of becoming one of the princesses like Cinderella, Snow White and Rapunzel among others. Of course, who can forget Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and the rest of the gang?
So when it was announced that there will be a Disney show at Smart Araneta Coliseum entitled Disney on Ice presents Dare to Dream, which will feature some of my favorite Disney princesses plus Mickey Mouse and some members of the gang, I was really excited! Good thing, last January 3, 2014, Magnolia Chocolait sponsored some tickets for me, my nieces and my nephews, as well as, the tickets for my blog winners; so we eagerly came and watched the show.
The Disney on Ice presents Dare to Dream show was really a heartwarming show. We certainly enjoyed watching it as it was magically wonderful that I was momentarily brought back to my childhood days. Of course, my nieces and nephew also had a great time as they knew all the characters of Disney’s Fairy Tale stories. I also noticed that those who were not that young at all, but were still kids at heart, had a great time.
Actually, the whole audience was really amazed by the story of Tiana (from Princess and the Frog), Cinderella, Snow White, and Rapunzel (from the animated movie Tangled) which were rolled into one entertaining show. I can still remember the scene where Rapunzel did here short aerial show between her ice skating stints – it was one of my favorite scenes actually.
In addition, after the show, we were also given a chance to meet and greet Cinderella and her prince. It was indeed a splendid experience for us!
Disney on Ice was presented by Feld Entertainment and had the show running until January 4, 2015 at Smart Araneta Coliseum.
