Red Hot Sale Goodies for Me

It is not easy to get me excited. But, if there is one thing that can perk me right up, it’s the prospect of being able to shop at drop-dead prices. The Robinsons Red Hot Sale that runs from August 10 to August 31, 2012 is one of my favorite shopping events. I get to enjoy discounts up to 70% off from regular prices. And, these discounts do not just come from any store. The stores and outlets of major brands at Robinsons Malls throughout the country participate in this annual sale. Great brands made affordable, what more can you ask for? There are a lot of items to choose from at the Red Hot Sale. I was like a kid in a candy shop. I had to restrain myself from picking just about every bottomed out bargain I can find.

On a mission to put together a look for an upcoming reunion, I had to focus on key pieces with which to accessorize my deep blue outfit. Not counting the cost of my sandals, which is a major purchase, the accessories my purchase totalled less than P500. Here are my top fashion picks:

These Beaded Sandals from Steve Madden set me back by quite an amount but I can say it will be a major wardrobe purchase that any girl would not regret. Down to P2,337.50 from P4,250, this pair is a steal. The style is classic and adaptable enough to be fashionable even several years down the road.

These Peacock Earrings from Accessorize are just the perfect color for my outfit. I tried them on and I can already see the whole look coming together. I just have to decide what to do with my hair. This pair is marked 70% off so I only had to pay P90. There are other small items with the same discounts that I would want to come back for later.

To cinch my waist, I chose this wide Leather Belt with metal hook from PD & Co. It’s only  P100 from its original price of P249. Since it is in a neutral shade, I can see myself using this belt with other outfits too.

Everything does not have to match in the exact shade and color. This Red Purse from The Little Things She Needs will provide a contrasting accent to my outfit. This purse is for sale for only P200, previously P580.

As I was going from shop to shop, I saw some flyers and posters about another ongoing promo wherein shoppers at the Red Hot Sale are given the chance to win gift certificates worth P1,000. I hoped to be spotted at the Shopaholic Spotted promo, but luck was not on my side.

I’ll try my chances at the Red Hot Giveaway promo at their Facebook page instead. Maybe I’ll win more goodies when I share their featured sale items on my wall.
