Filipino-Mexican powerhouse Jessica Sanchez gave a soulful rendition of Jazmine Sullivan’s “Stuttering” on American Idol Wednesday night (Thursday morning Manila time), and received high praises from the three judges.
American Idol Judges comments:
Randy Jackson: Dude, that was superb. That was, like, at the highest degree… To me, right now, you slayed the biggest fish of the night.
Jennifer Lopez: That was really beautiful. In the middle you were digging. I want you to sing like Joshua and be impactful and take us on a ride.
Steven Tyler: When I hear you sing, I forget where I am. You have the nerve to wear Jennifer’s shoes.
Jimmy Iovine said Sanchez has a voice that “can move anybody.”
