If you and you’re family is looking for a place to enjoy scrumptious food at reasonable prices, there’s one restaurant that you can highly consider visiting.
Elias by Crisostomo, or simply Elias
Especially if you’re with elders in the family, they would really appreciate the best Filipino dishes serve in Elias.
Owned by Chef Florabel Co-Yatco, Elias is inspired by Spanish Colonial Philippines from the cuisine to the interior aesthetics of the restaurant. The menu and the wall images were influenced by details and characters in Dr. Jose Rizal’s novel “Noli Me Tangere.”
Fusion experiments has never been so succulent as how Elias did it. Even kids would love their menu!
My family and I had feasted some of their menu and it was a fulfilling experience for us.
Pinoy Paella is a rice dish with pieces of chicken, pork, shrimps, egg slices, and some kesong puti. Just eating the rice is enough for us to enjoy!
Crispy Pata is one of their specialty. It is a deep-fried pork-leg with Garlic Sauce, Atchara and Soy Vinegar, serve either classic or hot and spicy. This is a one winner menu for us because of the big serving and we truly appreciate the taste.
Legazpi, a dish made of tempura-style prawns stuffed with Laing and served with crab fat sauce. If you’re a prawn and veggie lover, I bet this will surely boost your appetite.
Saturnina is made of Chicken Pork Adobo with Mangoes and Eggs and topped with Adobo flakes. This is a out-of-ordinary pizza and my family were very pleased and tempted to ask for more.
Emilio are slices of Beef Morcon cooked in special sauce. Appetizing menu, indeed!
Callos de Aguinaldo is made of ox tripe stew with chorizo, pine nuts, and green olives. My dad and my brother love this!
And for dessert, we had Iday, a suman with chocolate fondue. It was served in barbeque style and in bite-size pieces. This made our food trip a happy ending.
By the way, their Iced Tea is not only refillable, the refreshing twist of its taste will surely fill your thirst! We love the Pandan flavor.
Our mom… after her 7th refill of icedtea =)
Our family…. after a sumptuous meal at Elias! Busog =)
