There’s a new smart case for the iPhone 4 or 4S. It is lightweight and sturdy unlike the usual gel kind. It is made of polycarbonate and it fits well the phone without covering the top. You can use the phone without having to remove the case. So what is smart about the Tangram Smart Case 2? Basically it can carry a money clip and a plastic card (ATM card, credit card, membership discount card, etc.) so if you want something together with your phone at all times, this seems to be quite a solution.
There are several problems, though, for me. Although I thought I don’t have to bring a wallet with me, just the phone, it seems it cannot be so since I bring both several cards in addition to money. Also, since about 3-5 folded bills can fit the money clip, how can I fit more small denomination bills? If having large denomination bills will solve the problem, where will I put the change if I have any (which is more than usual)? If I receive bills that are no longer crisp, it is quite difficult to insert. While it is cool to have a multipurpose case for my iPhone, I don’t think I can leave my wallet behind. But still, Tangram Smart Case 2 is a great option if you’re looking for an iPhone 4 or 4S case.
