Unilab is a company known for providing quality and affordable healthcare products. Aside from being the largest and leading healthcare company in the country, Unilab also works hand in hand with communities to help improve health and wellness.

Now in its second year, Unilab is once again holding its Unilab Ideas Positive program for the youth. Students from different colleges and university share their most creative ideas on how to promote idealism and social purpose to find solutions to health and wellness issues in our community. With a seed fund of P100,000, the winning team is empowered to train their ideas into reality and implement their program in their chosen community while Php75,000 will be given to two runner-up groups. The prizes also include a cash prize for the group members as well as an honorarium for the faculty or group coach.

The prizes at stake are as follows:

    Grand Prize Winner
    – Ideas Positive Trophy for their school
    – P100,000 seed money for the implementation of their project
    – P50,000 cash prize for the group members
    – P10,000 honorarium for the group mentor/faculty coach

    Runners Up (2):
    – Ideas Positive Trophy for their school
    – P75,000 seed money for the implementation of their project
    – P30,000 cash prize for the group members
    – P5,000 honorarium for the group mentor/faculty coach

Each member of the finalist groups will also receive an Ideas Positive medal and a special Unilab gift pack.

Students from University of Asia and the Pacific won last year’s contest for their farm-in-the-city concept. This year, 11 teams from over 20 schools were selected and out of the 11, 5 will be chosen to defend their plans on September 18th before a panel of judges from different sectors.

Because the number of votes can help determine the winner, the finalists need our help. If you believe in their ideas on how to help our community, let’s help them by voting for their video. How? Follow the steps below:

    1. 1. Visit the Unilab Positive Ideas website via http://www.UnilabIdeasPositive.com
    2. 2. Click on the VIDEOS tab to watch their great ideas
    3. 3. If you see a video you like (or if you like all of their ideas), log on to Unilab Ideas Positive Facebook page and make sure you LIKE them already (if not, you need to LIKE it first before you can vote).
    4. 4. Find the team with the great idea and vote for them (or all of the teams to show your support to our youth).
    5. 5. Voting ends on Wednesday, September 7th, 2011

Note: You may only vote once for a video but you can vote for multiple videos.

So let’s help our youth make a difference. Let’s vote to support their creative ideas.
