At 4:00 a.m. today, September 27, Typhoon “PEDRING” was estimated based on radar, satellite and surface data at 40 km East of Casiguran, Aurora (16.4°N, 122.7°E) with maximum sustained winds of 140 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 170 kph. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 19 kph.
