Introducing a new world of web-connected TV entertainment, Samsung offers a new viewing experience to Filipinos which allows users to easily search for movies, TV shows, browse the web, explore Samsung Apps, chat with friends, and much more.
Samsung unveiled their latest innovative Samsung AV product called the Samsung Smart TV during the Samsung Philippines Exclusive Bloggers’ Conference held last April 7 at Seventh High, Bonifacio Global City.
The event started with the sumptuous dinner which was followed by the presentation of Ms. Jan Roman, Samsung Product Manager.
Ms. Roman introduced the features of the Samsung Smart TV to the bloggers.
Some of the features of Samsung Smart TV:
Smart Hub is the interface to all of Samsung’s Smart TV features. It is a user friendly menu where you can access the Search All feature, see movie and app recommendations, open the Web Browser or launch all the apps your have downloaded to your TV. According to Ms Roman, “Smart Hub was created to give consumers the convenience they deserve.”
Search All enables consumers to locate shows they want to watch. Users can even search for related content on the web and other Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) connected devices, networked PC and mobile devices, and Internet and video-on-demand services.
Your Video recommends movies and TV shows to watch based on your browsing history.
Samsung Apps is the first HDTV-based application store offering numerous free global apps (whether in sports, entertainment, information, games or social networking) and is looking into increasing that number to 1000 by end of 2011.
From a design perspective, Samsung has re-imagined the TV screen thru its 5 mm ultra-slim bezel. Samsung Smart TV will be available in 40″ 46″ and 55″. Price: TBA

I saw the TV commercial of the Samsung TV and it as cute. Back home, we use Samsung and our refrigerator is Samsung too. Our DVD player is Samsung. Addict sa Samsung eh.
