    Thunderbird Resorts Rizal’s Event Center

My family and I often enjoy marking special occasions by checking in to one of the local hotels or resorts near our area in Rizal. One of those we often get to frequent is the Thunderbird in Rizal. Not only is it very accessible to us, there are many amenities for guests to enjoy like a luxurious infinity pool, an obstacle course and table tennis facilities.

Thunderbird is actually more than just another resort for families to enjoy and celebrate special occasions, such as birthday parties and receptions, but it can also be a good venue for officeteambuilding activities, business meetings and conferences. Although some may think it is difficult to go to because of it’s distance, the resort offers a shuttle service with identified pick up points in strategic locations. For those with their own cars, there are large parking areas, valet parking and bell service you can avail of.

For checked-in guests, you can enjoy the comfort of the hotel with room service, a concierge and even laundry service, all of which are available around the clock.

When we stay in the hotel, it takes every ounce of control we have to not just keep ordering stuff! To be fair, the prices are reasonable enough.

There are also several dining ameneties in the resort. The KOI restaurant serves asian fusion and has a very inviting feel to it. It is a good place to hold gatherings and other celebrations. For outdoor dining the Pool Bar is open from 7AM-10PM.

Thunderbird Resort Rizal is definitely one of my go-to spots in our area. My hubby and I not only stay there from time to time, we also try to relax and have fun by trying out their gaming facilities.

In fact, not too long ago, my mom won a brand new Mazda BT-50 in one of those Fiesta Casino raffles.

That’s why when my hubby and I were invited to a blogger event for the launch of the Thunderbird Resorts Event Center, we did not hesitate at all to attend. During the event we got to see the other facilities and amenities up close and we truly enjoyed our experience.

Thunderbird Resorts built the first state-of-the-art, 500-seat-capacity Event Center in Rizal, a destination perfect for transforming the dull into the dramatic.

The Thunderbird Resorts’ Event Center held its formal launch on February 18, 2011. A true masterpiece unveiled, guests are welcomed with festive performances from the Buganda drumbeaters and fire dancers.

The ribbon-cutting was led by Rizal Governor Jun Ynares, together with Thunderbird Resorts executives namely Raul Sueiro, VP for Asian & European Operations; Angel Sueiro, VP for Design; and Fabio Moretti, Country Manager.

Distinguished personalities were also present during the launch: Sonny Dominguez, former Secretary of Agriculture and Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources; Palawan Governor. Abraham “Baham” Mitra; Roberto “Bobby” De Ocampo, former Secratary of Finance.

The event was hosted by ABS-CBN young star Nikki Gil, while World Singing Champion Jed Madela serenaded the guests with his hits and classics. Homegrown talents of Rizal, the Angono Youth Musical Ensemble provided the accompaniments for the performances.

Thunderbird Resorts Rizal EVENT CENTER sets the stage for exhibitions, meetings, banquets, and all other kinds of moments to remember. The night unveiled the latest, biggest, grandest masterpiece in the community – and a facility unlike any other. Where one can experience drama, euphoria, success, bliss, and excitement.

Moreover, Thunderbird Resorts sees to it that the Event Center will benefit Rizal and its communities, providing them improved facilities that can pave way for more tourism and economic gains.
