In celebration of the Philippine International Arts Festival, SM City Taytay, in cooperation with Nemi R. Miranda, Rizal First Lady Andrea Ynares, Rotary Club International District 3800, National Commission for Culture and The Arts, Rizal Provincial Government, Rizal Tourism Office and Taytay Tourism Office present the 3rd Rizal Arts Festival.

Join us as we celebrate art in different forms such as paintings, furniture and wood works brought to you by full blooded Rizaleños.

Relish every carvings, etches and depiction of natural scenery in this exhibit of various artists. Joining this year’s Rizal Arts Festival are woodworks from Jack Medina and Jesse Eustaquio. Plus elegant furniture design by Jaime Gerardo Designs.

As part of its celebration, The Rizal Arts Festival will also feature a Sketching Session with Rizal Artists with Bb. Taytay finalists on February 7, 5pm and a 3-day Art Workshop on February 9, 10 and 12, 5-7pm. These workshops aim to heighten the youth’s inclination towards different forms of arts. In addition to this, there will a fun filled afternoon with FOOD painting on February 6, 5 PM. Kids and kids at heart will surely love using food to create their own painting.

If you’re shopping for storage food, or if you’re near the area, visit SM City Taytay and appreciate the richness of Rizal’s Art and Culture.

The 3rd Rizal Arts Festival will be launched on February 3 and will run until February 15, 2011.

i wonder why we don’t have such events here in sm bacolod. they should hold more contests that promote local talents and give them good prizes, too.
