18 designers such as Alodia Cecilia, Emily Sy, Joyce Pilarsky and Lizanne Cua flaunted their ready to wear Confidence Collection inspired by the fun Whisper brand at Philippine Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2011.
Confidence Collection is divided into the Blue & White line and Purple Line.
Alodia Cecilia’s design is a sweet combination of cheerfully flirty yet poised and ladylike dress, with an easy, fun and laid-back vibe.
Meanwhile, Emily Sy, who designed a dress for the Blue & White Collection, said that her inspiration was the Raffles Hotel in Singapore. For her, it epitomized enchanting experiences, and embodied global sophistication and residential charm.
Joyce Pilarsky, Germany-based fashion model-turned-artist, introduced a 30-piece floral-inspired collection of swimwear, daytime wear, cocktail dresses, and long gowns that use lycra, jersey, laces, taffeta, and stretch chiffon tulle treated with embroideries and patchworks and accented by her one-of-kind accessories in gemstones and pearls. Her silhouette is body-hugging see-through which she describes as “different and daring.”
Lizanne Cua, who designed pieces for the Purple Collection, showcases her signature minimalist opulence and purist elegance through her collection “Radioactive Chic”. Her designs are elegant, comfortable, easy to wear, and minimalist with forgiving silhouettes.
Comfort and ease of wear and movement are definitely two things the Whisper brand gives women through its new Cottony Clean variant and Circles of Protection, a channel design that helps prevent leakage. And women and designers alike can’t deny that these are important to give women the confidence they need to look good in an outfit!
And with Whisper giving them the comfort and protection they need, women should have no problem wearing any of these ensembles with confidence.
