Shoppers at SM Mall of Asia witnessed a bright spectacle welcoming the year’s long Yuletide season. Last November 6, a giant, 50-feet tall Christmas tree was switched on at the Main Mall Atrium to the delight of weekend mall-goers readying themselves for the Christmas stretch. The occasion featured performances from world-renowned Filipino performers.
SM MOA’s Christmas Wonderworld Celebration” ushered what is touted as MOA’s happiest Christmas yet, with a multitude of prizes awaiting lucky shoppers. It also included the appearance of “Santa Claus” who met several kids and families and posed for pictures.
Beautifully surrounded by elves, the MOA Christmas tree was a sight to behold as those present in the venue were treated to wonderful sights and sounds. Special numbers from the UST Singers, one of the world’s most recognized and finest chorals, and premier soprano artist Rachelle Gerodias blended well with the amazing illumination that filled up the night.
The momentous day likewise served as the launch of a grand raffle to give away a total of 78 prizes. Shoppers are entitled to one raffle coupon per P1000 purchase at participating MOA stores from October 25, 2010 to January 9, 2011. Purchases made with BDO Credit Cards are equivalent to two raffle coupons.
