Experience The New Fragrance of Passion and Attraction by Downy

Women, especially mothers, are always concerned with how their washed clothes smell when they get dry. Good thing, Downy has innovated new ways to solve women’s problem on these and has come up with their new line of Downy fabric conditioners – the new Passion and Attraction by Downy.

I’m one of the lucky guest bloggers who were invited during the event where Downy unveils luxury line of fabric conditioners in Scents to Remember. In this event, we were able to have a glimpse and know more about the fragrance of Passion and Attraction by Downy as the scent curators of Downy walked us through the Downy Scent Museum.

A line of premium fabric conditioners, Passion and Attraction by Downy contains a unique blend of perfume oils, plus special touch-activated technology, to give women a long-lasting perfume-like scent that they can wear everyday.

The fragrance of Passion by Downy was developed by P&G’s Perfumer, Hector Esquinca, the leader of the Asia Perfume Development Program of P&G. Esquinca has more than 20 years of experience in developing scents and brings his training from the top perfume centers of the world to bear in creating the scent of Passion and Attraction by Downy.

Procter and Gamble (P&G), the company who brought us Downy, went to Grasse France, a well known perfume capital of the world, just to bring us the two new exciting and long-lasting fragrances – the Downy Passion and Downy Attraction. Passion delights the senses with the fruity, sweet fragrance of apple blossom, freesia and vanilla.

Hector Esquinca described the scent of Passion by Downy as “sweet and vibrant. We have blooming apple blossom from southern France blending with pear stripes immersed into a rich vanilla scent, ending in a touch of icy raspberry enveloped in warm cedar wood.

While Attraction by Downy contains a blend of floral scents like Jasmine, Rose and Ylang-Ylang for its top and middle notes, which is mixed with soft musk, tube rose and wood fragrances for its bottom notes to give the scent a lingering hint of the Oriental.

But it does not just end there, as Downy’s Perfume Series is also infused with advanced, touch-activated Perfume Microcapsule (PMC) Technology where the blend of perfume oils are placed inside the microcapsules. When these microcapsules are rubbed or touched, these slowly release more fragrance into the air. The result? You get fresh bursts of fragrance with every embrace, all day; they will think you’ve been wearing an expensive perfume everyday!
