Be Tempted With Wicked Kitchen’s Seven Deadly Desserts

Last Saturday, I attended the blessing of one of my favorite restaurants, the new branch of Wicked Kitchen. Actually, it is their second branch in the country. This second branch is now starting to wickedly satisfy its customers hunger at 2/F Petron Square Katipunan, Katipunan Ave, Loyola Heights, QC, while the first branch is located at Mother Ignacia Avenue, South Triangle, Quezon City, in front of ABS-CBN. The blessing was graced by celebrities like Alvin Patrimonio, Medwin of True Faith, Nina Ricci Alagao, Jennifer Rosales (LPGA Champ) complete with mini concert plus other surprises for all who joined the owners in this important occasion.

A little background about the restaurants’ name: Wicked Kitchen was conceptualized because some of the menus that are served have wicked names that are inspired from the seven deadly sins. Speaking of deadly sins, I just remembered one, Gluttony, one of my favorites…. Favorite dessert, that is. Yes, Gluttony dessert is a mouth-watering freshly baked chocolate cookie served with a scoop of mantecado ice cream and chocolate syrup to top it off. Gluttony is really their bestseller, I must say. Other Wicked Desserts are Lust (chocolate fondue served with mallows, fruits and cakes), Envy (a chocolate cake), Wrath (mango crepe with nutella) then there are Sloth, Pride and Greed.

As a pasta lover, I can’t resist the delicious taste of the Wicked Kitchen’s Ex’s Lasagna that suited my palate perfectly. Firestarters, want one? If you’re in the Wicked Kitchen, you better try their Firestarters, a lumpia style delicacy stuffed with chicken and chili that’s a little bit spicy; ideal for enticing your appetite and start to feed your cravings for good food. Firestarters can be paired with Broccoli and Cheese Chowder for starters. Then delve on the Beef and Beer Pie after that or put your fingers on Fish and Chips!

Hmmm….sounds temptingly scrumptious? Of course! It must be, like the Seven Deadly Sins that are hard to resist, Wicked Kitchen really live to its name.
