The North Face is inviting experienced trail runners, mountain climbers, outdoor enthusiasts and those craving for the active lifestyle to their big event this year, The North face 100. It is the Asia’s 1st Trail Running Ultra Marathon series to be held in Baguio-Benguet. Trail running is a lot like hiking, except instead of taking your time while enjoying the scenery, it pushes your physical limitations and has you including speed in your exercise.
Anyway, now on its third year, The North Face 100 continues to test the endurance of elite athletes and challenge aspiring individuals to define their personal limits in the gnarly paths, knife ridges, and treacherous mountain trails amidst the cool breeze and pine scent of the Philippines’ summer capital.
The two-day running event will take place on April 24-25, 2010 in Baguio and it will feature 11K, 22k, 50K and 100K solo running divisions. TNF 100 will traverse unexplored trails of Camp John Hay, the PMA grounds, Mt.Sto.Tomas and Tuba with a fitting finish in the iconic Burnham Park.
Registration kit contains:
Race Jersey, Bib, Maps, and Side Trip Travel Magazine
50 and 100K runners finishers will get special TNF100 tokens
All Finishers will receive certificates
So if you’re up for the challenge, “Define your personal limits 6,000++ ft above sea level! Join The North Face 100 in Baguio-Benguet. Visit: www.thenorthface100.ph”.
