The Daytona 500 is a 500 miles (804.7 km)-long NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race held annually at the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida.
The 2010 edition of the Daytona 500, which will be the 52nd running of “The Great American Race”, kicks off the 2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series on February 14 of that year at the 2.5 miles (4.0 km) Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida.
The race will start at 1 PM to comply with the new 1 / 3 / 7:30 rule for race starts during the new season.
