After the long hunt, keyed up Dubistas finally got to taste fulfillment as they got to unlock the mystery behind the venue for Urbandub’s album launch! Last November 28, 2009, keyed up Dubistas flocked to Eastwood Central Plaza in search of the official venue for THE ROAD TO THE APPARITION – THE URBANDUB ALBUM LAUNCH. Sonic Boom Management, in cooperation with the official radio partner – Jam 88.3, and MCA Music joined forces in order to inject an interesting twist in the hunt by giving out daily clues in Urbandub’s online accounts (facebook, yahoogroups, myspace, etc.) prior to the launch.
Tying all the clues together, the final venue deemed to be the place where the sun and the stars meet (as symbolized by the Philippine Flag posted by the entrance door) — Manor Superclub!
The turnout was exceptional as hundreds of true-blue Dubistas flocked to the venue! A plethora of people started lining up as early as 5 hours before the show eagerly anticipating the release of Urbandub’s mind-blowing album “THE APPARITION” under MCA Music! Limited Deluxe Edition copies were released at the venue, with the bonus track, “Home”. Dubistas who thought long and hard and proved their allegiance by joining the hunt finally got to reap the fruits of their labor. Energy was sky-rocketing as Urbandub rocked Manor Superclub with their signature hits as well as fresh, raw tracks from their latest offering! To top it all off, these true-blue Dubistas got to be the first ones to get their hands on THE APPARITION!
As a special treat to the Dubistas, Urbandub is gearing up for the release of their newest chillin’ yet rockin’ video for their latest single GRAVITY! Watch out for the upcoming premiere for the video of Urbandub for “GRAVITY” slated for premiere on Myx this Sunday, Dec. 13 at 9 pm!
