Many of us are familiar with the common sweet-tooth. Whether we are simply sitting around or completing an arduous task, we all, from time to time, experience an urge for something delightfully chocolaty.

Sugar season starts around Halloween, extends through Christmas, then the girl scouts start ringing the doorbells. The next thing you know the big chocolate heart boxes are out for Valentine’s day. Just when you have finished off that candy, the easter bunny comes a hopping. Summer is hot. Cold soda and sweet tea are refreshing. Sugar season for some people lasts all year.
However, sugar gets blamed on being the culprit or cause of tooth decay a.k.a. “rotten teeth”.
So when you have a tooth ache, first you need to clean your mouth. Try swishing with warm water first and then if possible use a toothbrush or floss to help remove any food particles from around the tooth.
One of the effective tooth remedies is having some pain killers. You can go to the nearest drug store and consult the pharmacist for some over-the-counter medicines that suit you. Usually, your tooth ache stops within 15 -30 minutes.
If you prefer to have your tooth relief by home remedy, you can try teabags. It is a mild astringent with antibacterial properties it also offers reliefs directly to your tooth ache. First, place a standard teabag into a cup of water, place in the microwave for 1 minute. Then, remove the teabag while still warm and place on the sore tooth. Bite down gently and hold in place for 20 minutes or until you get pain relief. You may also substituting green tea instead of regular tea, it works equally well. This should give you pain relief within 20 to 30 minutes.
