Toblerone once again brought Filipinos together to honor extraordinary and inspirational individuals in the Philippines who deserve to be shown our sincerest appreciation through the 1st National Thank You Day Awards at the SM Mall of Asia.
For this year’s awards, among the nominees are People’s Champ Manny Pacquiao fresh from his victory from Miguel Cotto, the late Francis M, who was part of the first National Thank You Day with daughter Maxene Magalona, Comedy King Dolphy, broadcaster and public servant Daniel Razon, CNN’s Top 10 Heroes of 2009 Efren Peñaflorida and one of the greatest leaders of all time for her fight for freedom and democracy, former President Cory Aquino.
During the event, Toblerone revealed the winners of the Spread the Sweetness of Gratitude Photo Competition. Remi Ann Sta. Cruz’s ‘My Best Playmate Ever’ and Jordana Quedding’s ‘Walang Iwanan’ reminds us that we should not forget to thank those that are closest to us, while Pat Lorico’s ‘Smooch & Pooch’ shows us how family can mean a lot of different things.
