Update on the Cory Aquino burial and funeral service.
There will be public viewing for 2 days in La Salle Greenhills. It will start today (August 1, 2009) 5PM until Monday Morning.
Schedule of Public viewing:
5 PM – start of public viewing
8 PM – Mass
9 PM – public viewing will resume
The public viewing at the LSGH will be held starting 5 p.m. Saturday, and will continue until Monday. The daily viewing schedule will be until 4 a.m., and will then resume on 7 a.m. There will also be a mass at the LSGH at 8 p.m. Saturday.
For those who will go to the LSGH, the line for the public viewing will start and end at the school’s Gate 5.
Family members, VIP guests and members of the media will enter and exit at the LSGH Gate 6.
Cory Aquino will be buried at the Manila Memorial Park on Wednesday after a 9 a.m. mass at the cathedral. -ABS-CBN News
Cory Aquino procession route:
From the Manila Cathedral, the procession will move to Anda Circle, then to Roxas Boulevard. It will turn left at Quirino Avenue and proceed to Osmeña highway. It will traverse the South Luzon Expressway and will take the Sucat Exit, then it will proceed to the Manila Memorial Park

It was a very sad day of Aug. 1, 2009 when I learned about the death of Former Pres. Aquino. Beginning the confinement of Pres. Aquino at the Makati Med Hospital as before doing my office works I was reading first all news about her health condition update. As her ailment revealed to the public (having a Colon Cancer) made me feels pity to the whole family as our family also experienced the same situation. We went through a difficult situation of having a family member with a terminal case cancer. It is really hard to see your loved one who’s suffering extreme pain which you can really do nothing.
Pres. Aquino inspires me a lot. Being a mother, a wife, a good Filipino citizen and most especially being a good “Human Being”. All the revelations of the true CORY AQUINO have turned me to a better person. I am a family woman working away from my children, I don’t see them everyday nor taking care of them with all their needs but because of the courage gained from Ms. Cory Aquino I become more inspired to work hard so to give my children a better future. Now, I am more determined!
It gives me strength to face whatever hardships and trials that come into my life since I know these things would make me a better person as to what Mrs. Aquino perceived.
I promise to be always a good mother to my children, a good daughter to my parents and a good sister to my brother and sisters, too. I will do my very best to be a good person to everybody whether what status of life he/she has.
From the bottom of my heart, I do thank Mrs. Cory Aquino for making me inspired and turning me to a better person. Because of you, I’ve learned the importance of being an individual in this earth.

I am also weeping in tears the whole day just watching the necro service of Tita Cory. I may not be present in the streets to personally attend and view the convoy since mindanao is very far. Thank God because ABS-CBN presented a very solemn coverage of everything that happened. By just viewing thru television the emotions and overflowing love I have for her just bursts inside my heart. We really should thank tita cory for all the unselfish and unconditional love she gave to our country.. Her legacy will surely lives on. Hope her death will serve as an instrument for us to move on and fight for change. Let us not just waste and take for granted what Ninoy and Cory fought for our country. Hope we will be more vigilant and responsible for our country!!! This event is really momentous and worth emanating. I love you tita cory! You’re the best and you inspired us a lot… Rest in peace now. You will always be in our hearts. Paalam.
