You’ll get to travel the world, attend exclusive MTV events and be togged out in cool Puma threads! Of course, there’s also the possibility of cultivating a huge fan following. So go ahead, share with us your take on what’s hot and what’s not in the scene today!
Contest Requirements:
* Open to anyone of 21 years of age and above as of the date of commencement date of this Contest, in Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong and China
* Must have a blog (Multiply account might do)
Mechanics:
1. Log on to mtvasia.com/Funstuff/Contests/BloggerContest
2. Create an account and choose any of the questions that revolve around these topics
* VJ Escapades
* Lifestlye & Fashion
* Gadgets and Gaming
* Music & Entertainment
3. If the judges likes your entry, you move on to a formal interview and will do various activities during the interview process.
For the final selection process, you must be willing and able to travel to Singapore for approximately 1 week to be interviewed at a time as scheduled by MTV for the final selection process. Interviews are expected to occur in early June 2009. Economy travel (return to and from the interview destination and the airport in your closest capital city) and hotel accommodation (in Singapore) will be arranged and paid for by MTV. MTV recommends that all shortlisted candidates obtain comprehensive travel insurance (at your own expense) prior to attending interviews. Further details will be furnished to the shortlisted contestants and if you are unable to accept the conditions for process, you will be deemed to decline our invitation and MTV reserves all rights to make another selection.
You must be willing to participate in a formal interview and various activities during the interview process. Activities may include team challenges, skill based and aptitude tests. Your involvement in the selection process and your acceptance of our offer of engagement is entirely at your own risk.
Shortlisted candidates must behave in an appropriate and professional manner as befitting their potential representation of MTV as our MTV Asia Official Blogger. Any inappropriate, illegal or immoral behaviour on the part of the shortlisted candidates will result in immediate exclusion from the selection process. You hereby agree that MTV shall be entitled to use your Works, application, name, likeness, appearance, voice and biographical information for its promotional and publicity purposes.
Prize
The Contest prize is a 6 month engagement with MTV Asia LDC (“MTV”) as one of thei “MTV Asia Official Bloggers” subject to their terms of engagement. The Contest is open from 4th May 2009 to 14th June 2009, but the closing date may be brought forward at MTV’s discretion should more than 30,000 applications be received. There will be 4 winners for this Contest.
