Color the last Sunday of February red as real-life sweethearts, Zanjoe Marudo and Mariel Rodriguez fill your afternoon with love in Your SongPresents ‘Feb-ibig’ on ABS-CBN.
Zanjoe and Mariel were last seen acting on TV together in Komiks Presents Mars Ravelo’s Varga. As the two lead the story of this Sunday’s Your Song Presents entitled ‘Houseband’, the viewers will see the couple in a more mature light.
Zanjoe and Mariel will also be supported by other cast members namely Chad Peralta, PDA Season 1 scholar and Gian Sotto.
Under the direction of Tots Mariscal-Sanchez, the story revolves around Teddy (Zanjoe Marudo) and Ellese (Mariel Rodriguez) his wife. Teddy starts as an overseas Filipino worker. But because of Global Economic Crisis, his employment gets affected and so he gets fired in the company he’s working with which will push Ellese to find a job while Teddy remains in the house. Because of Teddy’s great frustration, problems and arguments arise in their relationship.
