Dubbed as the farmer’s son, Bugoy Drilon has definitely come a long way. From being a sanitation worker in a school in Bicol to being the 2nd Star Dreamer in Pinoy Dream Academy Season 2, he has now become one of Star Records freshest artist as he recently came out with his first solo album entitled ‘Bugoy: Paano Na Kaya?” .
Though Bugoy emerged as the 2nd placer in Pinoy Dream Academy Season 2, he has proven his talent to the thousands of fans who have made his song (penned by Ryan Cayabyab) ‘Paano Na Kaya‘ number one in most of the radio stations in the country. The song was also nominated as Song of The Year in his targeted radio stations. His carrier single for his solo album which is “Muli” is now climbing the hit charts and will surely land number one very soon.
Tracks included in the album are Paano Na Kaya (Ryan Cayabyab), Kung Pwede Lang Sana (Vehnee Saturno), Muli (Vehnee Saturno), Bakit Ba (Jonathan Manalo), Simulan Mo Isang Pangarap (Ryan Cayabyab) and Lahat Ng Yan (Vehnee Saturno).
Bugoy’s music videos are being shown at Myx and a back-to-back airing at ABS-CBN before it signs off.
The Most Promising Male Performer of Asian Entertainment Awards 2008, Bugoy, attributes his success to his avid followers and supporters.
“Taos puso po akong nagpapasalamat sa kanila sa pag-suporta nila sa akin. Hindi lang po ‘yong una kong kanta, pati po ‘yong pangalawa kong kanta magiging No. 1 na din po. Kaya maraming salamat sa paniniwala nila sa talento ko,” he said.
Celebrate Valentine’s day earlier as Bugoy, Laarni Lozada and the other PDA scholars serenade you with their beautiful songs in their pre-Valentine show on February 13 in Ratsky (Morato).
