As promised, TV5 shakes your summer with hot events and activities to be jump-started by the second wave of the TV5 LIVE Shake Mo TV Mo Caravan. After the successful and much enjoyed primer last January, the LIVE Caravan once again travels on May 1 (Friday), blaring with exciting activities and partying this time at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall from 10 a.m. to 12 midnight.

Everyone is invited to turn the heat up and witness hot performances from TV5 celebrities, live tapings of your favorite TV5 shows, Talentadong Pinoy exhibitions and auditions, and chill music jamming with Moonstar 88 and Parokya ni Edgar.

Admission is free. Fun booths and activity stalls are set-up around the venue so expect to take home lots of cool prizes and surprises after enjoying the daylong event.

Enjoy and experience TV5 LIVE on its second shaking wave and watch out for more sizzling summer activities such as the Hirit Sa Tag-init! beach party in Puerto Galera on May 9, to follow the honking of the TV5 LIVE Caravan. Shake it sa Tag-init!

Speaking of TV5, I remember to check the prices of lcd monitor in the store.

On May 25, 1996, the country got its first taste of unpretentious, candidly captured-for-TV Filipino humor with the premiering of the reality-based original prank show Wow Mali!, hosted by veteran comedian Joey De Leon, on ABC5. And now, the comedy show returns to the airwaves of TV5 with a sole promise of delivering bigger and more hilarious entertainment with the objective of making the entire Philippines laugh!

Still captained by master prankster Joey De Leon as the host and mastermind of Wow Mali! antics, the show now literally covers a wider scope of comedy as it travels all over the country to make sure that the entire Philippines gets cracked by the classic Wow Mali! pranks.

Hopping from one province to another, Wow Mali! on its pilot episode goes all the way from south to north Luzon to catch Filipinos in candid camera fall prey in bizarre and funny situations. Some of the areas that were covered with pranks are Bicol, Pampanga, Baguio, Laoag, Vigan, and Quezon province.

Yet, Wow Mali! still keeps its loyalty to its original style of featuring a plethora of video footage showing practical jokes, bloopers, and wacky segments. The show also follows up on its classic celebrity set-up and pranks, with TV5’s Midnight DJ Oyoboy Sotto as the celebrity victim whose leg gets pulled off by his Tito Joey on the show’s pilot episode.

Witness the Philippines being shaken by Wow Mali, returning with “bigger, better, and wronger” entertainment and laugh out loud with Joey and the entire country every Sunday, 6 p.m. on TV5.

During the event, TV5 showcased their line-up of fresh and original shows for their second season. They introduced their website and community forum.

They also announced “my TV 5how Writing Project for Bloggers“. This contest is open to all bloggers wherein they have to create a blog entry about a TV show that you to watch and why you want to watch it. But be sure the show is not currently offered by any of the free tv channels in the Philippines, and of course the concept must be original. There will be 10 finalists, 3 winners. This contest will run from December 15 to January 30.

TV5 is true to their words when they said “Loads of prizes up for grabs”.

They raffled off some CDs, gift certificates, iPod Shuffle, and 21 inches Flat Screen TV.

And I’m one of the lucky winners of iPod Shuffle. My husband also won gift certificates from The Spa.

After the main event, they served overflowing beers and margarita.

We stayed at the venue until 11:30 to watch TV5′s Evening News because we are featured on their SideTracked Segment.

TV5 is offering a variety of booming new shows 24/7 on its second season ranging from drama, reality, news, kids, anime, and gag shows. Continuing to deliver blockbuster movies shown right in the comfort of your own home every evening is 5MAX Movies, now moved to a new schedule at 9 p.m. with bigger titles for a bigger home theater-viewing. Expect bigger titles this second season such as Spiderman, the Hulk, and King Kong.
