Coca-Cola Concert ng Bayan unites Pinoy Artists and Top Local Bands to Celebrate 100 Years of Happiness

It was a one big night filled with music and dancing as Coca Cola Philippines celebrated its 100th anniversary last March 23 at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds and simultaneously shown live in key locations nationwide including SM Baguio, SM Lucena, SM Cebu and SM Davao and streamed via coca-cola.com.ph.

The 12-hours grand musical event, dubbed as Concert ng Bayan is one of numerous ways of Coca-Cola Philippines in expressing their appreciation to those who patronizes the brand. It featured a stellar line-up of solo artists and top local bands (including Parokya ni Edgar with Gloc 9, Sandwich with 6-Cycle Mind, Callalily with Ebe Dancel, Rico Blanco with Never the Strangers and Itchyworms, SpongeCola with Chicosci, Pupil and Wolfgang) who performed mash-up numbers of their popular hits and of course, 100 years of Coca-Cola music! In celebration of their 100 years anniversary, Coca-Cola Philippines will hold “Concert ng Bayan” tomorrow, Friday, March 23, 2012, at the SM MOA Concert Grounds, starting at 3:00pm and it will end 3am the following day!!!

This 12-hour long concert will feature local bands and artists including Wally and Jose, Itchyworms, Ebe Dancel, Callalilly,  Sandwich, 6Cyclemind, Wolfgang, Gloc 9, Parokya ni Edgar, Someday Dream, Sarah Geronimo, Gary V, Rico Blanco, Never the Strangers, Sponge Cola, Chicosci and Pupil. Concert ng Bayan will also feature the international RnB singer Craig David.

Floring’s Bbq and Grill: Redefining Grilled Food

I was seriously considering banning myself from entering another chicken-cum-pork barbecue place for the simple reason that I was getting tired of them. Hearing about these two men, one a Mama or grown man and the other a boy, was getting to be much too much for me. One tries to come up with gimmicks to entice people, the other subjects itself to bad press just so people would talk about it. Oh wait, I thought I was merely going to enjoy a grilled lunch.
