Partners with MNTC for motorist assistance program during peak travel seasons
Caltex brand of fuels and lubricants, marketed by Chevron Philippines Inc. (CPI), has recently launched the Caltex Ka-Road Trip Motorist Assistance Program to ensure the safety of motorists travelling to the provinces during Holy Week.
From March 26 to 31, 2013, select Caltex service stations located along major thoroughfares such as North Luzon Expressway (NLEx), South Luzon Expressway (SLEx), EDSA, and as far as Ilocos Norte and Bicol, will be providing mechanical assistance and medical aid for motorists in need.
Partners such as Toyota will be providing 20-point inspection services in participating stations to ensure that crucial vehicle parts are in good condition. Red Cross will have on-site paramedics and ambulances on standby to handle medical emergencies. Motorists will be able to avail of free WIFI access in selected service stations as well.
Caltex Ka-Road Trip program aims to offer help to motorists travelling to some of the country’s most popular road trip destinations.
“Fun and safety should go hand in hand,” CPI Caltex Brand Manager Veronica Pangilinan said. “Through Ka-Road Trip, we hope to ensure that motorists will have nothing to worry about and just enjoy the journey.”
Caltex is likewise sponsoring and co-presenting the Safe Trip Mo, Sagot Ko Motorist Assistance Program spearheaded by tollway operator Manila North Tollways Corp. (MNTC) to bolster road safety along NLEX, Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway and CavitEx during times of peak travel seasons such as Lent, Undas, and Christmas season.
Selected sites and tollway service facilities participating in the program will be providing free refreshments, free towing services for class one vehicles, and 24-hour mechanic service.
