Rock the Vote the Finale dubbed Pinoy Power Rocks the Vote had its final pit stop at B. Gonzales St., Loyola Heights, Q.C. last October 16, 2009. And I was fortunate enough to be part of this event.

Their goal is to encourage people to register and exercise their right to vote while rocking the night away. A huge crowd gathered to enjoy the music of local band like Kadangyan Bandphilippines, Color It Red, Juana Change, Noel Cabangon, Moonstar88, Spongecola, Hale and more. Musicians, artists and celebrities unite to remind everyone to register.

Don’t forget to register and VOTE! Last day is on October 31, 2009

Starting October 22, 2009, voter registration hours will be from 8AM-9PM in all local COMELEC offices. Last day of this extended schedule is October 30, 2009 so take advantage of this time to register for the May 2010 election.

For typhoon-hit areas (NCR, CAR and Regions 1, 2, 3, 4-A, 5) COMELEC will be open on Sundays. Please spread the word to those who want to make their votes count in 2010.
