I am having the same problem with my Canon Ixus 100…I can get to the P mode, find the options … but then do not know how to work the Colour Accent. I have read through the manual and supporting Canon disc and no information.

Please help!

This is a good deal, i just want to add something to the review. This camera somehow has a blink technology which is a common problem with other camera, if you blink your eye because of the flash, no worries you still have a great shot! Another thing, i have tested this camera against the light and i still have a great shot! other camera will give you dark faces of you have sunlight on your back. Thanks to the smart auto shooting mode.

Hi Aloha,

When you are in the P Mode where you can find Portrait, Night Snapshot, Kids & Pets, Indoor, etc. Go to the rightmost part of the option. Then press display to show all the options for P mode.

If you can’t still find this option, please feel free to message me again. I’ll walk you through step by step. I dont have my camera with me now.

I have the same problem as ms. Ivy. I can’t seem to find the color accent and the other features of my Canon ixus 100 is. And i think your response to hers did not give me the correct answers. Please please pleas help me. I bought this camera for the color accent purpose and I can’t seem to find it. Thank you so much in advance.

soon i will post my sampLe shots, im stiL famiLiarizing the cam.hehe
question: where can i find the color accent mode? coz in the program section, mine onLy have portrait,night snapshot, kids and pets, indoor,sunset… how bout the other shooting modes?speciaLy the color accent?,,

gurL,, your review and sample images helps a lot. I’m currently looking for a digicam with great specs but with affordable price, and im really fascinated with IXUS 100is but still looking for reviews. Great that i read yours, it helps a lot especially the sample images. Im pLanning to get one by next week,and your review makes my decision firm.,,to go for IXUS100is!..
