Palmera Dimsum
I woke up today at around 3 in the afternoon. (I slept 7 in the morning). Anyway, I woke up with empty stomach. My husband did not prepare our lunch because he said he was waiting for me to wake up. So, we decided to order food over the phone.
I know this place called “Palmera Dimsum” that serves yummy food like garlic chicken. The problem is I don’t have their numbers. They don’t even have digital signage. I called some of my friends trying to get Palmera Dimsum‘s numbers, but no avail. Then, I decided to search online. Luckily, I got their numbers. Yipee! Thanks to the power of internet.

Non-working holidays for December
MANILA, Philippines – December 1, 26, and 29 are non-working holidays, Malacañang has declared.
December 1, a Monday, is nearest to November 30, Bonifacio Day, which falls on a Sunday this year.
The declaration is part of Arroyo’s “holiday of economics” that allows families to have long weekends.
Aside from these dates, the Palace released the list of upcoming holidays for the remainder of 2008, pursuant to Proclamation 1463, which President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo signed last February 18, 2008.
Regular Holidays:
December 25 (Thursday) – Christmas Day
December 30 (Tuesday) – Rizal Day
Special Non-Working Holidays:
December 31 (Wednesday) – last day of the year

I’m really excited since it is a Brad Pitt and George Clooney movie. I heard this movie grossed $19.1 million in 2,651 theaters in the United States and Canada, ranking #1 at the box office in its opening weekend. As of October 23, 2008, it has grossed $57,529,344 in the United States and Canada. This is really a must see movie.
Multiply is Officially A Kapamilya
Philippine media giant, ABS-CBN, has acquired a five percent stake of social networking site Multiply for about US$5 million.
Social networking and media-sharing site Multiply and ABS-CBNi, the interactive division of Filipino television giant ABS-CBN (Kapamilya), today announce a multi-year, strategic advertising agreement. Under terms of the agreement, ABS-CBNi will sell advertising and mobile services for Multiply’s Filipino users, with the two companies sharing revenues in the rapidly developing regional market. The partnership allows Multiply to monetize a significant portion of its traffic while still retaining a primary focus on product development and global customer acquisition.
“Social networking is flourishing in the Philippines and online ad-spending is increasing year-by-year,” noted Peter Pezaris, CEO of Multiply. “Partnering with ABS-CBN, and having access to all their top-flight blue chip advertisers gives Multiply a strong competitive edge in grabbing an early and large slice of the online advertising pie while extending our brand in the Philippines, the Asia Pacific, and worldwide.”
